What is a Performance Solution?
A Performance Solution is an alternative compliance pathway used where a building design does not fully meet the Deemed-to-Satisfy provisions of the NCC.

Rather than simply listing a non-compliance, a performance-based assessment considers the specific building design, fire safety objectives and relevant performance requirements to demonstrate that an acceptable level of safety is achieved.
